Ladies’ St Andrew’s Dinner and Prize Presentation
Tuesday 25th November 2025
Following a very successful day of golf in some relatively kind weather for the time of year,
the ladies of West Lancashire Golf Club enjoyed a fabulous evening celebrating St
Andrew’s Day and golfing successes on the course. Some 90 ladies sat down to a
delicious meal with a significant nod to the traditions of St Andrew’s. Mrs Paula Briggs
started o the evening with the ‘Address the Haggis’.
Later on in the evening Ladies’ Captain Miss Toni Keane introduced our guest speaker,
Ms Carole Codd. Carole had been a registrar for many years and talked about some very
interesting and amusing stories from her time in this role.
We then moved on to the presentation of prizes which was to include main meetings,
mainly since October 2025 but also including some aggregate wins over previous
months.

The Donald & Barbara Bastow Trophy
This was the mixed individual Stableford competition played on the 17th August,

Awarded for the best scratch score in the St Andrews meeting, played on the 14th
October.
