Ladies Autumn Supper and Prize Giving 26th September 2025
After a very successful summer of golf and competition the ladies came together to attend the Annual Autumn Supper with a number of amazing trophies to be presented.
The evening was attended by 80+ ladies and with special guests, Gentleman’s Captain Cian McCaul and Neil Dalton.
The ladies enjoyed an excellent meal followed by a report about the summer golf activities by our Ladies Captain Toni Keane.
Trophies were then presented for competitions which were held from June through to September 2025.
Proceedings started with the KAY BATESON VETERANS TROPHY presented to the OVER 60’s winner of the Red Stableford Competition, played on the 17th June.
Winner Sally Davies. 44 points.
The NORA RAWTHORNE SENIOR VETS CUP presented to the over 70’s winner of the same Stableford competition played on the 17th June.
Winner. 40 points. Jane Duckett
The two day Ladies Club Championship and DALTON TROPHY was played for on the 5th & 12th August. This trophy is awarded for the best SCRATCH score, 36 hole aggregate over the two days and was presented by Neil Dalton
Winner 93 score day 1 / 86 score day 2. Total score 179 Rebecca McDermott
The KEIZER TROPHY is awarded to the best NET score, 36 aggregate for the same Club Championship over the same two days, 5th & 12th August.
Winner. 80 score day 1 / 73 score day 2. Total score 153 Rebecca McDermott
A significant fact is that Rebecca is only the third person since the start of this competition to be awarded both the Dalton and Keizer trophy together.
The GWEN TYSON 18 hole Red Stableford, the best score by a junior aged 14 years and over, played on the 26th August.
Winner. 35 points. Amy Hunter
The CAPTAINS PRIZE is an 18 hole Red Stableford competition, played on the 16th September. The prize was presented by Cian McCaul.

Winner 2nd Division. 34 points. Madge McCaul
The SCRATCH CHALLENGE which is awarded for the best SCRATCH score in the Autumn meeting played on the 23rd September.
Winner. Score of 80. Rebecca McDermott
The MABEL BENNETT SALVER which is awarded for the best NET score in the autumn meeting played on the 23rd September.
