Tuesday 22nd April saw the ladies' invitation take place with 32 guests playing with us in a blue tee greensomes stableford competition. We had been worried about the weather on the run up to it with a forecast of rain for most of the day - but in the end the sun shone! In fact, we were all a bit warm.
We had guests from 14 clubs and 4 current Ladies' Captains played amongst us. Everyone commented on the condition of our course and how fast the greens were. The food was great, and we all enjoyed a well-earned couple of drinks afterwards.
The winners were Sally Davies with Sue Bennett from Ormskirk - 46 points
Runners up were Julie Cooke with Sarah Pengelly from Bromborough - 43 points (on back 9)
Third was Bernie Carr with Valerie Green from Aintree - 43 points
