Tuesday 8th July was the ladies' invitation with 23 guests playing with us in a red tee fourball better ball Stableford competition. It was a beautiful day, warm and sometimes sunny but with the West Lancs wind!
We had guests from 13 clubs and 2 current Ladies' Captains played amongst us. Everyone commented on the condition of our course and how fast the greens were and how difficult it must have been for those doing Final Open Qualifier. The food was great, and a couple of drinks afterwards topped the day off.

Runners up Alison Crawford with Hilary Philips from York - 45 points
Third was Lesley Morris with Charlotte Makin from Lymm - 43 points
And nearest the pin - sweeping the board on 6th an 17th - was Julie Howard
