Dress Code & Etiquette

Members are responsible for ensuring that they and their guests meet these requirements in the Clubhouse, on the course and practice areas.

The Car Park

Players are required to change golf shoes and clothing in the Locker Room and not in the car park.

The Club cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents within the car park and vehicles are parked at the owners risk.

The Clubhouse, Golf Course & Practice Areas

Smart casual clothing may be worn at all times (unless more formal attire has been specified for a particular function)

Members and visitors MUST NOT wear tracksuits, jeans and other denim clothing, shirts with dominant symbols, advertising or displays, trainers or headwear in the Clubhouse.

Gentlemen MUST NOT wear collarless shirts or tops

Ladies MUST NOT wear sun tops of any description

Gentlemen Please

Shirts must be tucked into trousers or shorts. Tailored knee length shorts can be worn with white socks in all areas but only up to 7.00pm in the Hilton Lounge.

Ladies Please

Tailored shorts can be worn in all areas but only up to 7.00pm in the Hilton Lounge.

Outer Wear

Outer wear such as waterproof clothing, wet and muddy clothing, top coats, anoraks and similar styled outdoor jackets must not be worn upstairs – all such clothing must be left in the Locker Room or Cloakroom. The only exception to this is that golf shoes with soft spikes are allowed in our Hilton Lounge,Blundell Lounge/Spike Bar.  Golf shoes are not permitted in the Dining Room.

Outside Functions

When the Clubhouse is being used for an externally organised function, the Dress Code may be relaxed for those attending.
