In June, West Lancashire and Ormskirk hosted England Golf Union’s English Open Seniors’ Championship, and with the final at Blundellsands, Gordon Edwards (Bromborough) and Brian Berney (Gerrards Cross) tied with a three round score of 224. They shared the trophy for the year.
