27 May marked the first golf competition in Lancashire for The Challenge Gold Medal and the Hutton Cup.
The medal was presented after dinner in the Blundellsands Hotel by Mr AH Whytt, the Clubs first Captain, to Mr James Kerr, who won with a score of 93 strokes.
